Stepping onto the first tee, the spectacular views will take your breath away. This beauty continues throughout the course’s 18 holes making a unique golf experience for members and their guests. The Canyon Club offers a challenging, yet rewarding golf experience to those of every skill level that is a far cry from desert golf as you feel that you are playing in the northeast part of the country.
Every par 4 and 5 moves left or right, uphill or downhill and has canted fairways that result in uneven lies on almost every shot. Many greens are elevated and all are well bunkered with the mysterious "mountain effect" confusing the best of putters with tricky reads. The par 3's play in a variety of wind directions both uphill and downhill and have some of the most undulating greens on the course. With the many elevation changes, ever present "canyon winds" and special features, you may never play the same course twice. Despite the rolling hills and other special features, the golf course is very walkable due to its classic routing. For those golfers wishing to ride, the club maintains a fleet of 60 golf carts.
There is a full practice facility including a range with multiple targets and a short game area with two bunkers facing a double green with a wedge fairway available. Extensive practice facilities and PGA / LPGA teaching professionals assist members with improving their skills on range in order to improve their play on the course. However, with our panoramic views and park-like setting, you do not have to play great in order to enjoy your day on the course.
